Laurel and Jim have been married for 35 years now and are the best parents in the world. They have always been very supportive in everything that we do and are very excited at the possibility of adding another grandchild to their family. Since we have lived all over the country they have always made an effort to come visit us wherever we are. Whether it’s in freezing North Dakota or sunny San Diego, they always come and see us and share in our adventures.
Jim: He is dentist by trade and has owned his own practice in South Jordan for the last several years. Brody recently joined his practice and they enjoy working together. Brittney and Brooke also work out at the clinic part-time, so it’s turned into a family business I guess you could say. Jim loves to travel; he and Laurel have traveled all over the world in the last few years and recently went to Israel and got to see all of the Holy Land. He stays very busy with his church callings and has been in the stake presidency for the last seven years. He loves the outdoors and enjoys skiing, mountain biking and hiking. We also enjoy play tennis at our Grandparent’s house and despite being 57 years old, he likes to brag that he can even beat Tyler every now and then.
Laurel: She is a very talented artist and has written books, magazine articles, and has even won several major awards. She has her own art studio and enjoys spending time there, creating her masterpieces. We are lucky because we have several pieces of her work hanging in our home. Laurel also enjoys traveling and goes with Jim all over the world. She brings several cameras with her and takes hundreds of pictures and then she will choose the best pictures to use for her paintings. She also enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her grandkids.
