Doug and I are only one year apart, growing up people always thought that we were twins. Partly because we looked a lot alike and also because we were always together. Doug has been an awesome brother, and I look up to him for so many reasons. Doug is the perfect example of a “people-person”. He is always kind, accepting and always looks for the good in others. After high school Doug served a mission for our Church in Auckland, New Zealand. This was one of the best experiences of his life. He loved the people there and I'm sure can't wait to go back for a visit.
He is a great artist, he enjoys free-hand drawing and also oil painting. He also has a love for home projects and has turned his condo into an amazing home, doing all the fix-ups by himself. He loves to learn new things and has a great memory. Doug loves his family, loves spending time with us and is not only a great brother and son but is an amazing uncle. He loves his nephew, Trevor, and niece, Brooklynn. He spends as much time as he can with them. I know that he will also be a great uncle to our kids, and eventually will be an amazing father himself.
